We’re still hanging out with Traci Earhart from Back to You Mother + Baby Support and MomPods and she’s chatting with us about what postpartum doulas do. Postpartum doulas come over to the house after the baby is born and they help out in so many ways. Traci says that they are primarily hired for overnight shifts where they help the baby sleep, feed, and make sure the mom is comfortable and refreshed in the morning. Julie Palmisano is a certified postpartum doula, and she shares how she helps families with their postpartum plans. Julie loves getting to provide that comfort for families and making sure they have restful sleep and a tidy house. Kasey Oyer is a postpartum doula client, and she believes that having one has made a huge difference. Kasey also says that it is worth the investment because Julie was looking out for the baby and her.
